The Hudson Lions Club was Chartered in the Spring of 1987.  At our Charter Banquet in April 1987, we had 27 members.  Since then our Club has varied with membership up to the low 50's.  As of June, 2010, our membership is at 45 members.

Hudson is the first Club in Wisconsin to establish a Branch Club.  Currently of our membership, 26 are in our Evening Club and 19 are in our Sunrise Branch Club.

The Hudson Club has been home Club of 3 District Governors - William "Bill" Brozek (decs'd), 1996-1997;  Gordon Knudson, 2003-2004; Daniel Gaeu, 2006-2007.  Several members have been members of the District Cabinet including Committee Chairpersons and Zone Chairpersons.  Also, we have had one person as a Director of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation - Lion Wayne Sprecher.

The Club has been involved in several service projects and fundraisers during the years and has had good attendance at the District, State, and International Conventions and the USA/Canada Leadership forums including Chairpersons of several District Conventions.
